Located inside the Newtown A. Perry Aquatic Center, Ocala Aquatics is an Olympic-sized pool serving all of Marion County. Various programs are offered here, including water aerobics, Masters swimming, and senior fitness. The pool is heated so you can enjoy it all year. Visitors can pay a $5 daily rate or purchase a 3-12 month membership.
Hampton Aquatic Fun Center
This isn’t just your average pool! Visitors can splash and play in the waterfall, sprays, and water slide. Perfect for kids during those hot humid days! You have access to the pool in sessions, which means you have 1 hour 50 minutes to enjoy the pool and must pay additional entrance fee to extend your session. However, open swims are made available on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a public pool open to everyone.
Jervey Gantt Aquatic Fun Center
The pool at Jervey Gantt is similar to the one at Hampton Aquatic. Both are public aquatic fun centers run by the city. The pool features sprays, a waterfall, and a water slide. The deepest it goes is 5.5 feet. Youth swim lessons are available here, as well as Junior Lifeguard Camp, Aquasize, and AquAbility.
Frank Deluca YMCA Family Center
The pool at the Y is designed for swimmers of all ages and abilities. It is a standard 25-yard pool. Join a program for beginners, seniors, or competitive athletes. There is something for everyone here! Lessons are available around the year. The pool at the Y gives our community easy access to a well-maintained and state-of-the-art aquatic center. Only YMCA members are allowed access to pool, but the public can swim there if they sign up for lessons through the Y.
Country Club of Ocala
Looking for a more private swim experience? Members of the Country Club of Ocala have access to the junior Olympic pool here. Food service is available once you are in the pool area. Maximum pool guests is 45 persons. Guests of members are welcome, but will be charged.
