What Your AC Should Be Doing

A properly designed and installed AC in a Florida home should do four things, every day:

  • Keep every room comfortable, around 75°
  • Keep humidity around 50%, so the house never feels sticky
  • Keep the air clean, with no mold growing in the system
  • Do all of that without running up your electric bill

If yours isn’t doing all four, it isn’t your house and it isn’t the weather. Something in the system needs attention, and that’s what we find and fix.

Most AC Problems Start With the Installation

A new AC can still leave you with hot rooms, sticky air and mold if it wasn’t sized, designed and installed for your home. Swapping parts or adding refrigerant won’t fix that.

That’s why every service we do starts by measuring how your system is actually performing. Then we fix the cause, not just the symptom.

An AC that runs all day and still can’t keep up isn’t normal. It’s a sign, and it can be fixed.

We Measure. We Don’t Guess.

Anyone can add refrigerant or replace a part. Finding out why it failed takes the right instruments and the right training.

We’re BPI certified, our team holds a DOE-recognized Energy Skilled credential, and we’re trained in ACCA Manual J, D and S, the industry standards for sizing and designing AC systems. So when we tell you what’s wrong, it’s based on numbers, not a hunch.

AC Questions We Hear Most

How often should my AC be serviced in Florida?

Twice a year. Your AC runs most of the year in Florida, so it needs more attention than systems up north. Our maintenance plans cover both visits.

Why is my AC running but not cooling?

It could be low refrigerant, a dirty coil, an airflow problem or a failing part. We find the real cause instead of guessing, and we explain it before any work begins.

Learn more: why a house won’t cool and how ductwork causes hot rooms.

Why is my house humid when the AC is running?

Your AC is supposed to remove moisture as it cools. When it doesn’t, it’s usually a problem with how the system was sized, designed or installed, and it can be fixed.

Should I repair or replace my AC?

It depends on its age, its condition and how well it was installed. We’ll give you an honest answer, and if a repair makes sense, that’s what we’ll recommend.

Do you work on all AC brands?

Yes. We repair and service all major brands and models.

Do you offer emergency AC service?

Yes. Emergency AC service is available 7 days a week. Call 352-358-5537.

What areas do you serve?

Ocala, The Villages and the surrounding areas, including Marion, Sumter, Lake, Citrus, Alachua and Orange Counties and the Orlando area.
