Solar can lower what you pay for power, but it doesn't fix an AC that's using too much of it. Fixing the system itself is what made the difference here.

Homeowner: In our house there's four people, and three of us are asthmatic. Since we changed the system and have the filter, we barely have any problems. My son doesn't have any flare-ups. And even with solar, my bill was running almost $300. My electric bill this month was $92.
George: So we knocked down about $200 on average. We redid everything down there. A huge difference. No more allergies or anything like that?
Homeowner: Not really, nope.
